Does not work in Precision 470

"Crucial's memory advisor is usually right on, but not this time. Dell specifies DDR2 PC-6400 Registered ECC memory for the Precision 470/670. Need to use single ranked DIMMs if you want to populate all 6 slots. These are recognized as Registered, but not ECC in BIOS and system will not use the memor …" Read Full Review »

"Upgraded a Dell Precision 470 from 2GB to 4GB of memory for a user who has multiple VM's open in a Developer Environment. He noticed a significant increase in performance. Memory is easy to install, but the guarentee you are getting the proper memory (especially with a Dell Workstation) is nice. "
