"My computer was running painfully slow. It is 3.5 years old and I was not ready to replace it. I took it to my Mac store and the guy explained to me why 512 mb RAM is not much any more. Since I am basically an idiot when it comes to this sort of thing, I just listened to him. He told me I should upgrade to 2G's of RAM from Crucial and not Apple.
