"The memory kit was a fast and install on my iMac. The simplicity of installation was probably influenced more by the Mac's design rather than the Memory Module Kit, but the media was a perfect fit. Kudos to the Crucial website for the tools provided (Memory Advisor and System Scanner) which removed any doubt I was ordering the correct kit. "Bought this one to upgrade my home computer and the modules were different sized than the original Mac memory. Still, it did go in so I fired up the computer w/new memory and got nothing. Required a pair of needle nosed pliers to remove defected modules. I did order a 2nd set from Crucial which worked. "2 GB RAM for a iMAC 4.1. Works fine. Very solid increase in performance across all apps. Does the job. The configurator to make sure you have ordered the right memory is a nice touch too. "

"Running many RAM "hungry" applications (photoshop, firefox, etc.) was slow with just 512MB (with a 3 year old computer).
Bumping the iMac to 2 GB was helpful and keeps things running smoothly.
Installation is a breeze (7 minutes at most) and testing it is also easy (just google around)
