"It works like how a RAM upgrade should.
Just plug it in, and boot it up. You'll notice a great difference.
Since I did used to only have a 256mb RAM device in my comp. A 1gb RAM upgrade really bounced the performance a lot.
Very good increase in performance.
But in a older comp like mine.
