"I am computer illiterate, but when Vista first came out, I got my mother a low-end computer (Compaq presario w/ 512 MB of memory and an Intel Celeron D processor 356, 120 GB hard drive). As I presume many of you know, that's not enough juice to make Vista function. This new computer was slower than our 10-year-old Dell.
