"Very easy upgrade. Both modules were accessible from the back panel. I did not want to do the keyboard removal thing. 20 sec and the 8500 went from 512K to 2G. No problems at all. Memory has been rock solid. "

"Can't say much about memory; it either works or it doesn't. This module was easy to install and the computer recognized it right away. I didn't notice much increase in performance on my ancient laptop, but I guess the speed is limited by the 5200 RPM hard drive. "
