Not really a speed increase, but now there's breathing room so I can run multiple apps at the same time and not touch the swap file. For OS 10.4.11, I'd say 1GB of ram should be the minimum. You Tube videos covered opening the MAC Mini well and was able to open my Mini easily.

Crucial purchased memory snapped right into place. Total installation time was 30mins max. "

"It is a little tricky to install ram on a mac mini. It also voids the warranty, but as my mac mini is past warranty anyway I looked up how to do it on Youtube. Thank god for youtube. Anyway, it installed just fine and works great. "
