"Well, I can't say for sure that adding the memory chips affected the consequences, but a few hours after I (correctly) installed the memory chips, my computer failed completely. The motherboard and processor were found to be rendered faulty. "I saw on the web sight that if you have a 64 bit OS you can max out the memory but that is not the case sometimes. It said I could use 8G so I got 4G but my computer only see's 3G. Yes, that is wasted money. "
