"This lens is not a good fit for ther XTi model. It does not provide a wide angle view as listed and duplicates the factory lens shipped with the body. The fit is too tight and feels almost forced when mounted to the camera body. This lens is not a necessary addition if you ordered the kit. "

Cons: poor image quality that looks as though you're using a point and shoot.

Overall, decent lens for the price, but look elsewhere if image quality is a priority. "
