Exactly What I Was Looking For

"I keep this radio on my bedside table and use it every night. All I need is a small am/fm radio. Most of the radios I found were way too big and had options I didn't need (CD, MP3, HD, nature sounds, etc.) It has great reception and is easy to program. "I was looking to add a digital AM/FM radio mostly for the AM. While I wasn't expecting anything fancy for [$] this was pretty weak. It came with a chip in the plastic handle. It takes 3 d cell batteries. It can't hold memory. When I turn the radio on it makes a weird beep and clears out all my programmed channels...." Read Full Review »

"I had to put two coins in the battery compartment to make the radio work. I still don't understand why the radio shuts down completly when I plug the AC out wire in back, and the radio has to be completely reset. "

"Static on all stations. Either defective or of the poorest quality. Big disappointment, returned radio to manufacturer. Will not buy anything but small items (batteries, cords, etc.) from Radio Shack again. No faith in company. "
