"we bought this dvd player for a road trip to Michigan from Tennessee. we have a 2.5yr old and 11mo old. it made the trip so much more enjoyable. we bought a different mount for our car instead of the one that came with the player.the only negative thing i have found (after 2wks of use) is that the screen only rotates one way (to the left) i needed mine to rotate to the right. that's the reason we bought the othe..." "We bought this because we take a lot of road trips. It works fine, nothing to special about it. The battery does not last long so make sure it is close to an outlet you can put the car charger in. My biggest complaint is to change the DVD if it is hanging on the back of the seat you have to take it out of the bag and unplug it before changing it. "The price was right, so we gave this item as a Christmas gift to our daughter in the Army. It last all of 6 months before it died completely. One would expect an item to last longer than 6 months, so I am disappointed in this item. Look to another manufacturer to maybe get a longer lasting iten. "

Too delicate for our needs

"We used the swivel mount on the headrest. It started skipping when we went over bumps and eventually would not work in the headrest mount. We had it less than 3 months and only used it on trips longer than 30 minutes. Thank goodness for buyer protection. We'll try a Sony this time. "
