"This is great for watching movies and listening to music for the price. Easy to hook up to a computer to drag/drop movies, pix, and photos. Once you re-name ALL the titles so they're short enough to show up on the lists, there's nothing else to do. The external speaker isn't great but a nice option to headphones. "No fault of JR-they are still the best. Will only recognize songs with 15 or less characters-so don't plan on anything from The Doobie Brothers; The Rolling Stones; etc.. showing up in your "mp3 folder"-and I use "showing up" loosely. "You can use it as a photo viewer, other than that it is a waste of time and money.
You can not transfer videos, music. Not compatible to the most common video formates
Claims .AVI, ASF MPEG-4 but practically does not support any one of them.

"Disappointing, not very compatible with much of any formats, they list lots but I have not found one to work either with the movie folder or the music.
My suggestion is use as an external 20GB hard drive and forget everything else, except the photos and voice recording.
