Bounceback Data Transfer will make a full and complete copy of your old hard drive- including Operating System- Applications- the System Registry- Boot info and your Data Files. When you have finished copying your files- install the new hard drive in your laptop. The enclosure can be re-used by installing your old hard drive as a simple backup system. Consider upgrading from BounceBack Transfer to BounceBack Professional for complete management of your backup operations. The enclosure box accommodates both SATA and PATA 2.5 inch laptop hard drives.

Neat product that almost works for me....

"I believe this product will work. I'm blaming my computer.... This is a simple product to use. Slap the new drive into the case, plug it into the USB port, run the software and go. The copy happens. Switch the drive with the one in your system and you are up and running. Okay. Four or five tries and I still don't have it up and running. But it seems like it should work. Problem with Inspiron E1705

"Pros Easy to use, nicely build, reusable. Cons Nothing much you can change or tune or adjust. Additional Thoughts Similar to what was already said earlier, with Dell 1705, it took a brand new WD 320GB disk and made an exact copy of the original 120GB HD (105GB plus 2 smaller recovery partitions).
