"The speed ring is fine but the post that attatches the speed ring to the Dyna-Lite head is too big. The Dyna-Lite 2040 and 1010 have .375" holes (umberella mount holes) and the Chimeron post is .500". I do not know if they sent me the wrong part or this is a design flaw. "It is exactly what it says- a plastic ring to allow you to use a Chimera bank on a Dynalite head. I have 2, I wanted a third- not the kind of thing you pine for (unless you are short one), nor is it high tech. It is functional, and essential if you don't have one. I just wish it was $15. "
