"The alarm can not be heard through ear plugs. The alarm is at the wrong frequency and needs a couple more dB. I purchased another alarm that has a volume control and a frequency adjustment that I can hear through my ear plugs. I would have preferred your alarm clock because of the easy control setup...." "In order to set the alarm, it seems you can only go forward. Since I sometimes set the alarm for 6:00 a.m. and other times for 5:30 a.m., I would have liked to be able to go backwards for thirty minutes rather than going forward 11 hours and some minutes. But otherwise I love this clock. "
