"The case serves the purpose. However, the padding is limited to light duty use. I can store an ethernet cable and blue tooth USB drive and a few other smaller things but that's about it. If traveling it will be hard to carry the charger in the case. I use another case to store everything including the external optical drive. "The same way we should use protection at all times, I prefer to buy it now than drop it, crashed it and then, after the fact, buy a protection for my laptop ASUS.. although that little thing comes with one, I use double layered... just in case... you know how it goes... "
