"Ok, this is one you are just going to have to hit Add to Cart and stop thinking about it. I read the many reviews and comparisons of this lens along with the Canon 28mm f/1.8 and Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Lest you think it is a difficult decision and you want to pay more money then stop reading. Otherwise buy this lens you won't regret it. "I really wanted this lens to be good. It is significantly smaller than its L-series cousin, and obviously cheaper. The first thing I noticed about this lens when I put it on my 5D was that my camera stopped working. I pushed the shutter button and nothing happened. "I use this lens on a 1D Mark IIn. The 35mm and 1.3X is a great focal length for shooting anything. Sharp wide open. "I used this with the Canon K2 35mm on Kodak Ultra Color ISO 400. The detail and wide angle effect is wonderful. I have been using the lens to take artistic shots of various buildings. Just a great Wide Angle lens that handles low light situations very well. Love it. "

F2 is a lot of fun to experiment with. It opens up a whole new world of creative options. I love being able to isolate a subject and blur out the background. Also, it is great to take low light pics without having to turn up the ISO. You get much less noise in your photos.
