"I bought the HV20 about 6 months ago for a short advertisement I was shooting. When I captured my footage for editing - a process that can be frustrating, at least with my NLE - I was blown away by the sharpness and detail captured by the HV20...at first. The HV20's CMOS has full 1920x1080 resolution, as advertised, but that's measured before the signal is compressed for HDV. The HDV codec only supports 1440x..." Read Full Review »

"wow okay i got the camera and i already have a fire wire for my computer but when i filmed stuff on it and hooked it up to the computer it sometimes actually most of the time says its not hooked up. and when i try to capture the film i did on it it just comes up blank..... and when i try to watch back tapes i filmed with the hv/20 on another canon thats just a dv it just comes up blank again basicly its a piece ..."
