"Wow, I didn't realize how much I missed my Canon EOS Elan II until I put my hands on this. I set the old one aside for a dinky pocket-size digital and haven't gone back to film. The dinky one finally broke after a few years, and I wanted to get back to taking decent zoom pictures and photographing weddings and such. I'm back to where my heart is. "The EOS Rebel XSi is a great digital SLR for the beginning photographer, but as your skills and requirements expand, the XSi simply can't fit the bill. The 12.2 megapixel sensor is great, all most people will ever need when it comes to cropping and prints.
