"It never ceases to amaze me that people (like Angie from Mt View) who obviously possess little to no skill with a camera wont hesitate to rate an exceptional product with a "1-star" simply because they have NO IDEA how to use it!! "Everybody should own at least one prime (non-zoom) lens, and this should be among the first to add to your collection. It's wide maximum aperture opens up a new world of pictures to those that have before only shot with relatively slow zooms.
