"I bought this for use with my Rebel XT (350D) and it's been great. When mounted on a tripod, this remote helps completely get ride of any camera shake, even that caused by simply pressing the on camera shutter button. So far I've used it to shoot models, cars, and scenery and it's paid for itself. Great remote for the money. Cable is just the right length. Multi-function button is perfect to get AE/AF lock ..." "This is a great remote trigger for use in night photography, and for reduction with large lense shake. The overall construction is fine, but could be a little more heavy duty plastic. The camera connection could be contructed a little more securely as well, I can see the connection breaking if not careful. The only other issue, would be a longer cord. "Use this remote with my Benro Monopod with fold out legs. with the minimal sway of the monopod the release lets me photograph with out adding sdditional movement equaling much clearer pictures.
Small compact sized unit. Great buy easy use.

The only problem I had was while shooting long exposures of fireworks, I accidently slid the shutter release lock button partially into place and one exposure ran way to long before I realized shutter was locked open.
