"Pros - mounts directly into cigarette lighter so only 1 wire to worry about - the 1 wire is in a retractable case so it doesn't get tangled - VERY powerful transmitter - NO STATIC - NO ANNOYING WHINE Cons - only has a finite set of stations, but the transmitter is so strong that it doesn't matter. "Even though I had seen both good and bad reviews for this product, I tried to remain optimistic. Unfortunately, it did measure up to my modest expectations. The problem seems to be with the required volume settings. With the iPod volume set at 90% and the car radio volume set at 70%, the audible sound level is only moderate (equal to a 35% volume setting for regular radio playback). Yet even at that volume, ..."
