"I ordered this cable to go all the way trough the living room from my desktop to my hifi. Unfortunetaly, there is a lot of parasite noise because I guess of the length of the cable. I cannot have the volume set only to low while the computer volume set to the highest. "

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
