"I bought this card to upload videos from my camcorder to my computer. I particularly was looking for the internal port as the front panel of my desktop has a knockout for a firewire port, just no "guts" behind it. With this card, and a cable setup from Dell I will be good-to-go!

"I was able to get this card (kinda) working on Vista, but device manager stated it didn't have the correct driver. No drivers CD included, but XP detects it fine. Also, the third port is shared with the internal one, so one or the other at a time. Overall, a good card at a good price. "
