"these earbuds are amazing. I get to try the Bose headsets often on my flights during my break but they are too big and not terribly comfortable, I cannot sleep on my side with them on! They are def equal if not better than the Bose headsets and very comfortable, can wear them for hours and cannot even feel them. Also use them at the gym and they stay on perfectly. "The ear phones do not work without the ear pads -- they are needed to wear the earphones and also provide sound isolation. Unfortunately the ear pads fall off very easily.
