"After 3 years with a Brookstone sound machine, I depend on the sound in order to sleep. Have found that the engineered sounds, particularly Celestial, sound strange initially but truly improve my quality of sleep. Enjoy the clock and the smaller size of the travel model, though the sound seems better on the full-size model. "I have loved this product, but I have just experienced the death of my third one in less than three years. I love the machine, just wish it would keep working. Agree that the alarm volume needs to be adjustable. It isn't loud enough. Otherwise, great size for travel, and I can't sleep without the white noise. I take it everywhere with me.
