Does everything I need it to...

"I wasn't entirely sure of what to expect (as far as true quality) when I first bought this flash, but after having used it for several weeks now, I'm actually very pleased. This flash has a few small quirks I've noticed that can be slightly annoying, but nothing that would keep me from buying it a second time. My chief annoyance is that the back-lit control panel on my D80 sometimes lights up whenever I turn th..." Read Full Review »

You get what you pay for

"Simple TTL flash. Plug and play. However, you can not accurately/manually control flash power (Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc are not listed on the flash) There is no sync port on the side of the flash. Also no digital screen, just a sticky manual slider. Very cheap construction but the light weight could be an added bonus since my camera is very heavy. If you're looking for a basic flash to stick on the top of your c..." Read Full Review »

"I have the Nikon SB600, and the SB800. This flash is just as good, if not beter. It is much better than the SB600.

I put this on my D70, D200, and D100. I was shocked at how this flash preforms. It's like it is reading my mind. The exposures are right on everytime.

I was expecting a small compact …"  Read Full Review »

"I bought the Bower SFD35N to use on my Nikon D40 DSLR camera and could not be happier with it.

While I didn't want to spend a large amount of money on a flash, I wanted something that would make a noticeable difference in my photos and function much like a higher-end, more-expensive flash. As an …"  Read Full Review »
