"If you have a smaller room and don't want to deal with wiring a room for surround, the Bose 3-2-1 system is a great way to go. The sound is great for such small speakers (and the subwoofer). "I use the GSX as both home theater and home stereo. Bass and treble response are both excellent and are fully adjustable. Could use a headphone jack but that would defeat the excellent overall sound quality from the small yet overwhelmingly sounding speakers. A thumbs-up all around. "
