"I purchased large headphones (earbuds just don't give much bass) and my iPod was straining to push them (drained iPod battery quickly and didn't have enough power to drive them). The Boostaroo took the strain off of my iPod and it drives the headphones perfectly; the sound is much richer and clearer. "I dont understand how this got the rating it did. The device makes anything I plug into it sound horrible! Not what I expected.
