"Let me start by saying this is a great aftermarket pedal for the price. It worked right out of the box. You can adjust the tension on the pedal. I found the manufacture setting to be the right "feel" for me. I started nailing quick double bass notes I rarely could get with the stock pedal on songs like Afterlife, any of the Metallica songs, etc. It also made everything else a little easier too.
