"I use this simple bracket mount with a Canon Vixia HP S100 camcorder. I attach a light and a Sennheiser mini-shotgun mic to it. The new Canon camcorders feature a proprietary shoe, so attaching accessories with standard shoe mounts is impossible. This bracket solves that problem, and allows mounting two accessories at once.
