"I wanted a relatively cheap, but not poor-quality sleeve for my iPod Touch (2G), and this sleeve is exactly that. It's a very simple silicone sleeve. It fits, though it sometimes comes off at the corners. It provides moderate protection for the iPod (it's survived a few falls thanks to the sleeve, I believe), but it doesn't offer any screen protection. "Both of the cases work great. They fit my 2nd gen perfectly. The one thing I didn't really like about these cases is that one I pulled them out of the case they had a terible smell. "Of course it wouldn't fit a first generation ipod. They're not even the same size.
First gen is bigger than the second.
The product does fit nicely but just like all other silicone sleeves, dirt does tend to get trapped inside causing the back to get scratched.
