"I got these because they were cheap and we needed powered monitors. They are indeed cheap and they do indeed work fine as monitors. "Currently deployed as stage monitors for PA. Rough highs, muddy lows... for the price, can't expect too much.
Note of caution: the Balanced input jacks don't have a locking mechanism, thus, are prone to disconnects!!
Replacing the one i'm using with a QSC K12.

"I use this unit to deliver sound to a second area in our church when we have an overflow crowd.
I also use it as a portable PA system.
It is a GREAT unit for my needs.
The only thing that could be a problem are the adjustment knobs. I would like to see them recessed in future models.
