"I bought this to get better sound from my Canon HV20. I am a professional photographer expanding into filmmaking. I am not a video pro, but the improvement in sound recording is fantastic. "I use it with my Canon GL-2. The sound quality is much better than the on-camera mic. The low cut is really good to cut out unwanted low frequency noise.
