"This portable DVD player kit was bought as a gift to myself + family over the Holidays '08 directly from Amazon. It's a true lifesaver. I take 3-hr long roadtrips every week with them and I'm constantly losing my mind in silence behind the wheel. Think Seinfeld. "I bought this player for one reason, to play DVDs when I am running on the treadmill. Out of the box, very easy to install, you unwrapp the power cord, plug it to the wall and to the DC input on the unit. slide the POWER switch to ON, push the OPEN button on the player, insert a DVD and it starts playing.
