"I have this cable running between my 1080p HDTV and my Sony Home Theater/Blu-Ray Player.

While waiting for the cable to arrive, I used standard wiring for video sound.

Lets just say, after hooking up the digi/op cable

it made a world of difference in sound and video quality. "
