The ATH-ANC7 headphones from Audio-Technica provide terrific sound quality while virtually eliminating background noise. Great for use on an airplane or in your living room, the lightweight, comfortable headphones have an adjustable, padded headband and cushioned earcups so you can wear them for hours without fatigue. The large, 40mm neodymium magnet drivers provide an extended frequency response to give you the deepest bass and most crisp treble. Active noise cancelling circuitry integrated into the earcups reduces background noise by up to 85%. This circuitry runs for hours on a single AAA battery. If desired, the headphones can work in passive mode, allowing you to remove the battery and listen to music without noise cancellation. You can also remove the cable to take advantage of the cancellation features for quiet, peaceful bliss. The single-sided cable has a standard 3.5mm mini plug for connecting to MP3, CD, and DVD players. A 1/4" adapter lets you connect to higher-end sound equipment, and a special airplane adapter lets you listen to in-flight entertainment systems. The headphones fold flat to fit inside the handy carrying case along with all of the included accessories for easy traveling.
