"this item is not sturdy enough to support the tv when extended fullly out to the side, it sags even though it says it will support up to 40 lbs. my tv was only 30 lbs. the knobs when torqued down still resulted in probably a 1" sag. the mount works fine when your tv is in the center position against the wall, but if that is what you want you wouldnt be ordering this with the swing arm. its not worth the headache..."
