"This device is unreliable. It heats up to the point where it freezes constantly. I set up a few recordings and nothing ever gets recorded because it freezes up. "best for using instead of a vcr or dvd r/rw for recording tv & dvds (i can move the files to my portable archos devices for viewing while i'm on the road). it can do a lot more, but i use it as a workhorse for recording video. "
