"This laptop is exceptionally built. Of the 8 laptops I have owned (all are from different companies) I would buy this one again. There are a couple of complaints, the lack of an internal memory card reader and fire wire port, while not show stoppers it is an annoyance. You can over come each with a USB devices.I purchased the 13in, 2.4ghz, 2 GB of RAM then upgraded to 4 GB of RAM on my own.AS with every Apple ..." Read Full Review »

"I had the White Macbook 2.0ghz which worked fine but I decided to switch to the new macbook for a perfomance boost. "Great aluminum uni-body. Easy access to Had Drive and Battery.
OSX 10.6 works great. There is a bunch of free software available from developer tools to utilities that works well with OSX.
Great back-lit keyboard.
Screen brightness adjusts to lighting conditions.
