"I've struggled to get my 12 year old daughter off the sofa and away from her TV and FaceBook page. So discovering the Geomate.jr seemed like an opportunity combine her love of gadgets with a little outdoor fun. "The first unit was purchased on 6/21, replaced on 7/23. only used 3 times. Fell from 3ft to soft trail ground and would no longer power up.[...]f there are clouds, forget it, no signal. Changing from one cache to another is rather tricky, pay attention to the display. Marking caches as found is a chore, as you still see the cache as active. But, for kids, this is great.
