Good antenna but not for rural areas

"I live in a rural valley 35 miles away from transmission towers in NY & NJ. It pulled signals but reception was poor with interferences. I am sure it would work well in more open terrain, and on the roof top of a 2/3 story building. It is better than the ones I tried earlier but did not serve well. "
