"I LIVE IN HAYWARD IN THE SANFRANCICO BAY AREA AND WITH THIS NEW ANTENNACRAFT HBU 33 I CAN RECIEVE KSBW CHANNEL 8 AND KCBA CHANNEL 35 BOTH FROM SALINAS WHICH IS LOCATED ROUGHLY 100 MILES AWAY BY CAR. CHANNEL 8 AND 35 ARE ON THE VHF HIGH BAND RESPECTIVELY(8 AND 13). IT IS AT LEAST 5 FT ABOVE THE ROOFLINE AND POINTED SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT FREMONT PEAK IN SALINAS. not very strong

"Noticed no difference in the amount of channels I could pull in when compared to the $34 UHF only model of same antenna. VHF channels still came in very poorly despite being within range (and they came in on the UHF only antenna too at same strength!). I will not waste money or time with VHF again, it is too hard to tune in no matter the antenna...." Read Full Review »
