"I purchased the Alpine 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer (SWR-1242D), on a whim, after attending a concert. The concert sound was so incredibly powerful. horrible do not buy

"well i first got this sub in febuary of 09 and had it hooked up to a mrp-m500 amp which should be just perfect for this sub but it turns out this sub isnt able to handle what its supposed to handle after going though 2 of them now i have just given up on alpine completely and bought a buddy of mines old kicker comp vrs and they hit harder then the type r ever did..."
