"I bought this Alpine stereo mainly because I heard it in a Best Buy store and it sounded great. I wanted a stereo to play my Ipod through. Put it in my Hummer to replace the stock radio. I also had Geek Squad install the Ipod connection. I was surprised by the incredible sound through my factory speakers. "I bought this deck so I could play music/podcasts from my iPhone (1st generation). The sound quality is fine, but the interface is sub-par. First, the deck hi-jacks the iPhone interface.
