Our bodies are programmed to wake up when the light around us reaches a certain level—in other words, when the sun rises. This unique alarm clock simulates a natural sunrise using your own bedside lamp, telling your body clock that it's time to stop sleeping and wake up. The result? You wake up gently, easily, naturally, feeling refreshed and alert. The Daybreak™ clock works with most standard incandescent bedside lamps—just plug yours in and set your wake-up time, then choose a sunrise duration time between 15 minutes and 2 hours.

First, waking up gradually to sunrise simulation allows your body to fully complete its final sleep stage and sets your body clock's sleep timer so that you fall asleep more easily at bedtime Second, the clock can also simulate a sunset, to help you fall asleep and sleep more soundly. Patent-pending TrueDawn™ technology faithfully replicates the gradually increasing light of a real sunrise. Two wake settings let you use one for weekdays, another for weekends, and you can wake to a sunrise, an alarm, the FM/AM radio or a combination of these options. Advanced backlit touchscreen is easy to program, and the display automatically dims at night so as not to disturb your sleep.
