Good for a flash

"These are good if you mount a flash but for anything bigger you need something sturdier. I mounted an Alien Bees monolight and even without a light modifier this thing swings like a fishing rod. The footprint also suggests mounting only the lightest accessories. "

If you are just getting started on your home studio, you can't go wrong with these stands. Right now I use it for two SB-800's, but I would not hesitate to use them with heavier gear. "
