"I bought 2 of these batteries to go in my BG-E5 grip for my XSI. I was a little skeptical because I normally buy OEM stuff just to be safe. Well for the price and the Canon LP-E5 out of stock, I figured I would give it a try. I really wanted to use my grip too. These things are pretty good. "This bat. is a VERY poor mechanical fit. It was hard to get it into the Canon charger that came with my Xsi and VERY hard to get it out again! It would not even seat into the actual camera without forcing it (which I did not want to do).
