Works great, but very loose fitting

"This worked great to wirelessly control my SB-600 from my Nikon D50. I definitely had to have both the camera and flash in Full Manual mode, and no TTL! My only big complaint is how loose my flash fits in the device, and also how very loose the device fits in my flash stand. The device does have the option to attach a tripod screw, so that is a plus, but very careful handling is required...." Read Full Review »

works very poorly

"this flash trigger fits horribly on my sb-600 it will only work if the flash is lying on the ground, i tryed mounting it to my manfroto light stand and was impossible to get to work. i had to shove a piece of foil near the lock switch just to get it to work 1 in 10 times. i wouldnt reccoment this unit its worth the money to get a more solid one...." "Very good device for a great price. I have two of them. They work well and reliably. They are plastic and solid. I've had no issues.

The expected things to be aware of is that they will fire on TTL Pre-Flashes; but you shouldn't be using these for TTL. If they happen to be sitting in a bri …"  Read Full Review »

"I purchased three to use with the SB-800 & SB-600 when I wanted them to work as fill and highlight strobes with wired studio grade flashes.

The three shoes all had different tolerances with different levels of fit. None worked firmly with the shoe-lock on the SB-800/600. Modifications to the s …"  Read Full Review »

"Slave unit is reliable and easy to use on flash units, especially for supplemental lighting. I use them in still life and close-up photography.
