"Aluminum covers fell off right out of the box- nothing a bit of JB Weld couldn't fix. Can be a little tricky opening one handed, but won't go flying open on it's own either. Very tough- overkill if anything. Plastic would have been plenty strong, but didn't like the available 8 card holder colors, and the pelican case version is too big. "DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! As soon as I took it out of the box, the plastic exterior case fell off. Fine, I fixed that with some glue rather than the single piece of double sided tape holding it on. Put my memory cards in then went to shoot a football game. Okay, I'm on the sidelines, need another card, go to remove it and POP!
